    Question Which software is capable of recording NBA ILP to harddisk?

    I am thinking about purchasing a NBA ILP account but I don't like watching games on a PC using this stupid Flash app... Instead I would like to dump the stream to my harddisk to watch it later on my XBMC box in the living room. No screen recording, real stream ripping!

    I googled a lot to find out which software is capable of doing this - without luck - so I am asking here for help. When I pay 170 € I like to know in advance how to handle this

    I am just asking for hints about the stream copy software itself, no need for hints on video editing, muxing & stuff - I know how to handle that

    Any software running on Linux or Windows 7 would be fine!

    Thx in advance!

    you can make a scheduled rec by making a batch.file in notepad and execute it whit Task Scheduleropen notepad and paste this

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" "(A)" --sout=#transcode{vcodec=mp1v,vb=256,scale=1,acodec= mp3,ab=128,channels=2}:duplicate{dst=std{access=file,mux=mov,dst="(B)\(C)% date:~7,2%_%date:~4,2%_%date:~10,4%.(D)"}}

    save it as a batch file so there is something like this name.

    batfill in A,B,C,DA=httpB=location wich you wanna save fileC=the name of the file(name wathever you like to name)D=file output(for example avi,asf,wmv,st(for streaming best is asf sometimes you must save another sort file to watch like .stexample ("C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" "http://127.0.0.1:8902/stream" --sout=#transcode{vcodec=mp1v,vb=256,scale=1,acodec= mp3,ab=128,channels=2}:duplicate{dst=std{access=file,mux=mov,dst="C:\Users \name\Videos\streams\filename%date:~7,2%_%date:~4, 2%_%date:~10,4%.asf"}}

    execute this batchfile in task scheduleri did this whit sopcast so i made a batch file to open with taskscheduler(made the url link to open a channel) and use the http of sopcast.
    i think you can do it with other p2p too.ithink this is the easiest way to make a scheduled rec in vlc.Important is the outputfile (mostly asf)Dont use avi

    Do a google search for a older version of StreamTransport build 1.0.2.2041 i think...?

    It might be able to help...
