Default VLC --> Sopcast encoding settings (bloodzeed?)

    Hey,
I get a tv channel into VLC, and I want to broadcast this using sopcast.

So what I did was stream out from vlc with following settings:
    encapsulation: ASF/WMV
    vcodec: h264
    acodec: aac

    I created a http:// stream aswell as a mms:// stream.

But whenever someone tries to view my stream the sopcast buffers upto 60% then crashes.

Bloodzeed, I have seen u do mms:// stream, what settings do u use? codec? fps?

ASF/WMV does not support h264 codec.

    That encapsulation needs wmv codecs.

If you want to use h264 then this guide explains it

that wmv codec is shocklingly bad. its like those 240p youtube videos.
