HOW SWEET IT IS....RAISE THE JOLLY ROGER!!!!! THE LUMBER CO. KEEPS ON POUNDIN AWAY, AND TEH PITCHING CONTINUES TO BE SOLID. TODAY WAS THE KARSTENS THAT WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE. I WOULD LIKE TO THINK THAT HE WILL GET BACK TO NORMAL, JUST LIKE THE 2ND HALF OF LAST YEAR.
IF KARSTENS WERE ABLE TO DUPLICATE HIS PÈRFORMANCE OF LAST YEAR AFTER THE ALL STAR BREAK, THEN WE WILL HAVE 3 STUDLY PITCHERS WITH 4 AND 5 BEING IFFY. BEDARD AND CORREIA DONT EAT UP INNINGS AS OF LATE BUT THEY HAVE MANAGED TO KEEP US IN TILL THE 5TH INNING..SO WE WILL SEE.
THIS CLUB HAS TIED THE 1975 CLUB´S HR RECORD FOR JUNE...... THAT IS A GREAT TRIBUTE TO TEH FOUNDING FATHERS OF TEH LUMBER CO. SO, TEH QUESTION NOW IS, HOW MANY OF US ARE NERVOUS GOING INTO TEH BREAK??? LIKE LAST YEAR IT COMES AT THE WORST TIME, AS THIS CLUB IS EXTREMELY HOT....... ONCE AGAIN CONFIRMING WHY TEH ALL STAR GAME IS USELESS AS TITS ON A BOAR.......HATE THAT DAMN GAME!!!!!
IT IS MY HOPE THAT WE STAY STRONG....AND TEH MAIN DIFFERENCE IS, WHEN EVER WE HAVE A LOSING STREAK, WE HAVE 2 PITCHERS THAT CAN STOP IT AND GET US BACK ON TRACK.....BURNETT AND J.-MAC...THAT IS A GOOD SIGN....... A LIL FOOD FOR THOUGHT....DOES J-MAC´S BLOSSOMING REMIND ANYONE OF DENNY NEAGLE????? IN THE MID 90s????
HERE IS AN OTHER COMAPRISON........... THIS CLUB REMINDS ME OF THE 1988 CLUB, TEH ONE THAT WENT 85-75. IF WE REMEMBER IN 1987, WE BOUNCED BACK FROM A HORRIBLE 1986 CAMPAIGN, AND WON 80 GAMES. THE BIG PROBLEM WITH THE 87 CLUB WAS FINISHING THINGS, BUT IN 1988...WE STARTED WINNING GAMES AND PLAYERS STARTED BLOSSOMING..... I SAY HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF........
OKAY, I WILL SEE YINZ LATER TOMORROW NITE AFTER TEH SPAIN-ITALY MATCH, WHICH I HOPE SPAIN WINS SO I CAN PARTY ALL NITE AND CHASE HORNY SPANISH WOMEN AROUND TEH PLAZA...............

Ohhhh and lets hope that c.b. Buckner doesnt dick us over in some series like in atlanta last year.............. S.o.b. Stil wanna curb stomp him for that call at home in extra innings.........................

Today the Buccos fell short losing to the Cards 5-4. In my opinion they gave that game away. Shit happens i know. But all in all i see alot of positive things this year i didn't see last year. I am hoping the injury bug stays away and this sudden surge of offense is not a abberration. And all of you know me well enough i hope in this forum to know that i won;t get overly exciting unless it is warranted. I guess i need to see consistency LONG after the all-star break!!

Wow, this offense is friggin EXPLOSIVE!! Didn't look pretty early on, but then the Bucs just started hitting and made almost every hit count - just incredible.

Hot damn! I thought it was Wimbledon after the 3rd inning: practicing forehands & backhands off the right field fence, and foul pole. What a game! Got to stay focused. We got lucky early in the game with all those astronauts on base; but, hey, it builds character in a team.

We might head down to the early game on Wednesday - free tics if we harness a designated driver.

I'm not used to checking out these wild card scenarios with the play-in game...I better learn. The Cubbies beat the Bravos, which is good.

Congrats to La Roja, Rat. We saw footage of awesome celebrations in Espana. Well deserved for the team that is up there with the old Brazil y Dutch clubs. Question is: where's the pics of those olive skinned Spanish beauties (booties)?!? I'm sure you all had a grand time...

Green weenie + lumber co. = buccos kicking ass and taking names!!!!!!! Tonite has been a great example of hidden viggorish and testicular fortitude............ Buccos grew a huge hairy elephant pair and came back hard and have docuhed teh astros............ Hard nosed and blue collar style baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big win last nite!!!!!!! 27 times we have come from behind....that is a trend that started teh first part of last season, and i am glad to see we have grown on that........ The attitude is that we expect to win...and we can thank hurdle for instilling that attitude....... Lets go for teh sweep tonite boys!!!!!!

huge gem by karstens, even if hammer has been a lil off this year thus far......22 saves is good, but remember last year he was lights out the first half and only blew one save opportunity after having 27 in a row
