    Everton had the better of chances, but goals that count. A couple of penalty shouts, but as today, not always given.

    Everton played well and we were hanging on. Sunderland give the ball away far too easily which is always a boost to the opposition so we must learn to control a game.

    Before kickoff I would have taken a replay.
