ROFL
I don't check in here much during the off-season, but I can't stop laughing about this

Initially I checked whether it was April Fools Day, but no, the Catholics have turned into the Convicts,
the intimidating, evil-looking, gangsterish QB Tommy Rees has indeed been jailed
Let`s just say, that might not exactly help him in terms of winning the three-player QB race
Compared to Floyd's DUI incident last off-season, I think kicking a police officer as a high-profile ambassador of an elite, Catholic university comes across a tiny bit worse
I would not be surprised if Rees got kicked off the team (nor do I think it would be all that detrimental to the Irish offense)
What troubles me more than our QB beating up a policeman is this:
"he raised his knee and knocked the wind out of a police officer who had chased him down following an off-campus house party."
I know Rees isn't the most mobile QB on the roster, but an athlete getting chased down by a police officer?!?
I'm sure back-up Everett Golson wouldn't have been caught in the same situation...
Why you need to arrest an adult for having had a beer at just after midnight at the first day after spring classes is beyond me
But maybe the officer was a Michigan fan
