i've downgraded to the vlc 2.0.0 and am only putting in links that are live and it still keeps coming up. any ideas?

Hello. I launch sslsd.exe, i put the streamid, then it has the default way for vlc and when i click ok it says Stream Started but vlc won't open. Why is that?
