Hey guys anyone know how to fix this problem? I can watch streams fine through sopcast android but when I want a specific URL like Bloodzeed's (have tried others as well) it buffers but doesn't open. Anyone had this problem before and fixed it?

i know that some android devices struggle if to try to watch high bitrate streams, I know that for example bloodzeed it experimenting with bit rates and codecs which is great on a PC but a mobile device isn't quite powerful enough yet.

You are right skoobydu, but only for the "lowest" range of smartphones.I promise you that Bloodzeed at his rate(and not only him)is very enjoyable in a Galaxy S2 or Htc One and similar ones.

    version 0.8.8 below.

    http://www.sopcast.com/download/android.html

I downloaded this for my Htc desire and wasn't expecting much, but it works flawlessly. it allows you to open links from the site and the pic quality is awesome. I then upgraded to a samsung galaxy s3 and this was obviously my first app. runs like a dream.

Sorry it took me so long to
    get back.

I have since upgraded to the samsung galaxy s3. And downloaded the soppy app. On wifi it is flawless. Even my work wigi which is awful. On 3g it obviously depends on signal strentgh. But to be honest i would say that 8 times out of 10 it runs perfectly. But don't forget that if on 3g it uses internet data so if you are on a limited data package be mindful of how much you use.

Agree on the 3G thing if you need to use 3G make sure you get a package like 3's all you can eat data package like here in the UK. Plus you should always use Wifi when ever available when streaming especially anything P2P(sopcast)...
Say NO to Ads on streams & Stop the Virus/Malware Alerts.

If ever a password is needed in any of my or other users uploads try myp2p, Myp2p or wiziwig.

I'm on 3 with all you can eat data...
The problem I have is that the your using 3g messenger pops up and stops SOP cast streams even if I select continue to use 3g. Anyone know how to stop this message?

Default Latest sopcast 8.8 no sound i9ssue with Xoom tablet

I've installed every version since it came out to no avail, I get no sound in Sopcast. I get sound in everything else, stream, youtube etc. I didn't see many posts on this so it must not be an epidemic so if anybody has a clue please share some wisdom. Thanks in advance.

I just posted a new thread and didn't see this one opened, so sorry for double post.
I don't see any sound issues being mentioned but my Xoom cannot get the sound to work while in any version of Sopcast. Sound functions with anything else so I do think it's Sopcast related. If any of you have experienced anything similar or you know of any other apps I need to install please share your info. Thanks in advance.

A lot of people upgraded the phones to JB and now we have no sound with
    Sopcast 0.8.8 (or any version).

Thank you for your work and understanding.

Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!
You guys are awesome! You have answered the prayers of millions!

Now we have sound for Jelly Bean.....Thank you!

But, you also asked if I can find any problem with the beta release and I found 2 of them.
    Here they are:
    --------------------
    1) After you start a stream, the video and the sound starts right away, but when
the buffer gets to 50%, the video "resets" and disappears (black screen). That happens
about 3 out of 5 times. But, if you click "Stop/Play", the video comes back and plays
    without anymore problems.

    2) The video and sound are out of sink about 2-3 seconds.
    --------------------
Those are the only "glitches" that I have seen.
Just so you know, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II, I have unlimited data on 4G
and at home I have WiFi with 60 MB download speed.
    ==================
If you don't mind, I have another request, for both Mobile Sopcast and the one on PC.

We are originally from Romania, so we watch only Romanian channels.
In the latest releases, for Android or Windows, almost all the important
    channels disappeared from the "list".
Please bring them back the way they were in version 3.4.0 (for PC).
Let me give you an example:

Now for the last problem, in the version 3.5.0 for Windows, when you switch the "screen" to TV through
the HDMI connection and click the "full screen", the picture "snaps" back to the PC.
That didn't happened with version 3.4.0.

If you have any other bugs to report, go ahead and tell them, but be polite and courteous,
otherwise I don't think they will answer you...(in other words, kiss some a*s...lol...)
