    Default RealPlayer

It seems, in order for the temporary recording device in PerfectPlay (ver. 10.5) to work,
One needs to leave the two desktop.ini on the.…desktop.

Is there any way of moving these without getting the function disabled (inoperative) ?

    Lol.

It’s a great way of buffering a .mp3 Radio Station's content for some minutes to then click past songs you don’t want to listen to.
I’ve discovered that I can have both the latest version and this one saved. 10.5 allows itself to be stretched out horizontally more or less endlessly,
    which the latest won’t.
Useful when you’ve buffered maybe 2 hours. Besides, Wiziwig keeps it on its list of Software.

Can't you just open .mp3 radio streams on VLC media player? or I am thinking of something else? and by the you can record audio on VLC media player as well.

The thing is, this is about listening live and choosing what to.

Just for the information; the advantage of 10.5 is (also) that if a Pod file is played, you can jump right in anywhere,
no need of downloading from the beginning like with WMP or 14, 15. With VLC it’s a little bit depending on the file,
if the pod allows a jump right in. And even if it does, if you jump too much, eventually it will freeze.
If a R. Station sends out markings on when a song starts and ends, it will be seen on the 10.5,
more vague and unclear on 14, 15. But there is a sort of recording item where you can slide back
and then record or should I say, copy everything after a chosen marker point.

After retries with several other downloads, most of them rejecting install because of the Win. 7 or Xp 64 bit system,
I made a reinstall of the one I asked about here. (The link leads to the German download page I used).
This time no desktop.ini’s but no temporary savings either. It could of course be that these 2 was a fixing
of the problem, but on the subject of “crap” I dislike shortcuts on the desktop. There is also a concern of viruses.
Did a complete uninstall - reinstall of the no. 15 and now 10.5 works as I want !
Damned if I ever understand this PC thing, so - problem solved (I hope).

    Big Thanks for your concern.
