well you'll go up before you go down, so unless there are more than 8 goals tonight you should be safe unless someone close behind gets both results spot on.

Well.. with the surprise elimination of Russia and Poland finishing bottom, hardly anyone got any points for Group A final standings! THC still out in the lead having increased his goal score to 8 points - but with the current average goals per game predicting around 83 goals in total..

Quarter Final points will not be added until the completion of all the group games, but group placing points are added as each group finishes.

More surprises last night.. while plenty of people predicted Germany to win the group, hardly anyone got much of the rest. Four people tied at the top, but as you can see two of these are going to be losing points in the coming days.

We now have a bit of a gap opening at the top (once you discount those being boosted by goals points), and by some miracle, riise94 has now leapt to mid table!

Day 11:

After sliding down the table, and with Russia winning and the Dutch in the final, not to mention RvP as top scorer, SHARE2 must be wondering where he goes from here... riise94 on the other hand will be torn between wanting a German - Italian final and England getting past the next game!

I'm not torn at all mate. I did Italy at 14/1 before a ball was kicked

It would nice to see England win this thing of course but unless the Bubble & Squeaks knock out the Germans we ain't got a chance anyway.

Is it just me or I am I the only one who hasn't got a clue how this scoring is being worked out

It`s the cards and goals tables that bamboozle me. I thought they would be settled at the end. Just on results, I`m on 55 points by my reckoning. Can you shed some light Bert?

lol i know where i'm going i knew when the rusians went out,didn't expected much from the dutch so i'm rooting for the germans and les blues so i wont finisch last
