OK a little clarity on the scoring.
I've included each round as it arrived, and red card and goals have been included from the start, to create a little confusion and false hope. Plus having the scores go up and down gives me something to talk about. It's also in homage to the original, and the guy running it who is now cycling 300 miles to Paris for charity - check out the link in the first post.
The group placings were added as each group finished, while the quarter final place points were added once Group D finished and the group stage was complete.
The goals and cards are scored based on how close you get - so say your prediction is 75 goals, and the actual total is 77; 77 would get 10 points, 76 gets 9 points, and you score 8 points. So those who've guessed low totals (30, Redbullsnation, what WERE you thinking?) saw there points rise through 10 then sink back again to nothing once it was 10 goals more than they guessed. The cards work the same way, but it's 5 points for spot on. Low card tournament - so it's going to be interesting what happens there - I've got 2 points currently as I guessed 6 - at the moment, 3 red = 5 pts, 4 red = 4 pts, 5 red = 3 pts, 6 red = 2 pts. Each card from here on will get me another point, unless it reaches 7.
riise94, you have 11 points for prediction, 14 for group placings, and 25 for quarter finalists. plus your point for goals, which will creep up until another 9 are scored. you'll want a few 1-0's.
Here's the table without goals/cards:
