Default Athletic Bilbao vs FC Barcelona [Copa del Rey Final 2012]

L'últim acte, the last act of Pep Guardiola's (first) time at FC Barcelona. At the same time the last and only option to win a title this season for the Blaugrana. Athletic lost the Europa League final to Atlético, in whose stadium these two will meet. The Basques finished 10th, therefore this is also their only chance to make something out of the season. Ingredients for a great match are all there.

If it wasn't against Barcelona, and especially Pep's last match, I wouldn't mind to see Athletic finally win another title.
Alexis should be fine for the game, so aside from the defense (Puyol and Alves injured) the best team is available for today!

I'm in Madrid. Amazing atmosphere. Bilbao and Barca fans everywhere and very noisy. It'll be an incredible atmosphere in the Calderon!

Looking forward to this. Both teams play the game how it should.

I'm going for Barcelona to win 4-2, and Pep to sign off in style......

You're more than welcome, ( and able ), to fill Fergies shoes at Old Trafford...

Athletic: Iraizoz, Iraola, Amorebieta, Ekiza, Aurtenetxe, De Marcos, Javi Martínez, Ibai, Susaeta, Muniain y Llorente

FC Barcelona: Pinto, Montoya, Piqué, Mascherano, Adriano; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Pedro, Messi y Alexis

I thought Cesc would start instead of Alexis but otherwise no surprises.

A lot of fuss was made about both sets of fans booing the spanish anthem. I wonder how the commentators on tve will react. Great stream on the spanish sopcast and amazing atmosphere in the Calderón!

    Meeeessiiiiiii

Was only a matter of time, Athletic without any chance so far. Even a cock up by Pinto wouldn't be that much of a problem now
