God knows how Bale finds himself in the middle of the picture, stunning all the same though and deserves to be shared among our fellow yids!

Should be official by early next week..

A little birdy has been twittering over the weekend that an old spur a one Stefan Freund is about to rejoin the club in a coaching capacity.. Apparently his work with aspiring young German players has earned him plaudits around europe.

    We shall see!!

I hear Adebayor may be coming in on a £5million transfer and £5million signing on fee, if Levy has pulled that price out of the bag, he really is a God!
17 goals and 11 assists in his first season, things will only improve further...this season is starting to have a cracking look about it already!

Yes, I read this as well, and all for it. His stats are impressive, but I only wish he could bring the ball under control quicker when he's in the box as he would score far more goals. However,he does so much for the team, his workrate is incredable, he can pass, has great vision and can head as well.

I had the same feelings as you but it is quite clear (as you stated in the last part), If you take away his efforts of last season, even the Europa would have been a distant dream. A massive step up on what we have had since Berbatoss, a cracking deal if true.

Spurs do need a striker, and they can get that in Adebayor.

    Walker-Jan-King-BAE
    Parker-VDV
    Sigurdsson
    Lennon-Adebayor-Bale

    makes perfect sense

I don't think Ledley King will be a first choice CB this season, even if he is fit! Kaboul & Vertongen for me.

Reports from respected French paper L'equipe have announced today that Hugo Lloris is in negotiations over a transfer to Tottenham.

This is a supposed "leaked" picture of Tottenham new 1st team kit from new sponsor Under Armour...Not bad, and certainly keeps to the club tradition.
