I'm happy with the draw. Definately an encouraging display. Not brilliant but good enough to keep my hopes and dreams alive.

    Brilliant.

On Topic: Both looked like average teams to me and both will get picked off by better opposition.

I had us down to lose before the game, encouraged by the likes of Welbeck.

I'm happy with that performance, people saying England should have done this & that forget it was 31 degrees out there this evening..For a still relative experimental team i thought that was a very good defensive display and we can become difficult to beat, with Rooney due back i see lots of positives from today.

Just so glad Not to see fat frank strutting his stuuuuff!

Very good showing from England. It is a very good base to start from. Cannot also help but feel a bit disappointed by the result. If only Milner had taken his chance. Did the hard part and just did not get his foot around the ball enough. I did not think the French were that good just wish we had attacked them more then we did. Defensively we looked well set up but just wanted a bit more threat from us. Good ball from Garrard for the goal Lescott did well to score. Pity we could not hold on and we sat back and were too deep for Nasri to score. Quality strike mind you. Hope we can get a win against Swen's lot cannot help but feel the 3rd game will be tough as with the host nation winning they will be up for it. Good result for England overall just hope for a more offensive threat next game. Carroll and Welbeck up top and Young on the wing for me
