Not true, well according to ESPN website and ITV's coverage of Poland/Russia, it has shown a statement from Redknapp.

Redknapp told ESPN: "No, I haven't resigned, and I have no idea why it is being suggested that I have resigned.

"This is an outrage; an absolute liberty for people to be putting around this kind of rumour on the internet. It is not true, there is not a chance I will resign. Why should I? I have a year left on my contract."

Little tip, if someone uses the acronym "ITK" it is usually a sure sign that they are anything but.

Don't matter as I've got him next manager gone...... He's only leaving because of levy. Levy feels he should have a say on who stays and goes.

If it is all true it's one of the worst decisions Spurs or Harry have made.

    Eh! Ben it's Official mate

And to say it's the worst decision shows you not up to speed with what's been going on between HR and Levy concerning his new contract...maybe have a peep in Here.

He tried to hold the club to ransom and came unstuck!

Just as I said, he made his bed now he can lie in it. My only hope is that Levy has something up his sleeve, no doubt he does....in Levy I trust!

It wouldn't surprise me if Harrys agent, Paul Stretford is the greedy one here.

He made £1m from Rooneys transfer to United, and tried to engineer a move away from OT by putting pressure on a much improved contract extension. Stretford was reported to have been looking at £5m, had Rooney left United.

Who would you Spurs fans like to see come in?

Why would Harry Redknapp, with all his experience need an agent to deal on his behalf?, especially someone like that scum bag Paul Stretford!!
Talk about a match made in heaven.

As for a replacement, David Moyes is the clear favorite, but as I've said on the Spurs 12/13 thread, I think Daniel Levy could be giving us a big surprise!

You could be bang on the button there THL...

Redknapp was being touted in particular to Chelsea ahead of the announcement that Champions League winning Roberto Di Matteo had been retained on a two-year contract. Further to that, I'm told Redknapp's people had enquired on his behalf about the managerial vacancy at Liverpool - which was ultimately filled by former Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers. The Aston Villa manager's job had also, I'm told, been in the sights of Redknapp's representatives, led by Paul Stretford.

There is a further suggestion that Redknapp may have been uncomfortable with what was happening on his behalf.Redknapp wanted a three-year contract extension and the flirtations with Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa may simply have been to force Levy's hand.

However, it seems the Spurs chairman was unhappy about that - and the efforts have backfired.

Ah I can see now why they have done it doesn't seem as bad now that's me just listening to the media (Sky, BBC) who are very one sided and seem to stick by Harry. The thing is now Spurs don't want to appoint someone like Juande Ramos and find themselves going backwards.
