I downloaded this yesterday and the scan found 27 Tracking Cookies and 2 Malware.

FLVPlayerSetup (1).exe C:\Users\xxx xxx\Downloads 'Contains characteristics of an identified security risk' Malware.

I Quarantined the 2 infected FLV's, but it didn't remove the 27 tracking cookies. I ran another scan today, and it found 1 FLV malware, and deleted everything, including the tracking cookies.

I looked in my Downloads, and the Programs and Features in the Control Panel, and there's nothing identified as 'FLVPlayerSetup.exe'. I've Googled it and found some comments from other forums, and it all sounds gobbeldy gook to me, as most computer language does

Where are these risks likely to come from? And why hasn't my anti virus been detecting it? I'm also wondering if this is what's causing certain programs to suddenly stop working or slow to respond. I also get a notice saying, 'McAfee Security has encountered a problem and has stopped working'. Then I have to click the 'Close Program' button, then restart the program by checking for updates and running a scan. Which all seems a waste of time as it never finds anything. But Hitman Pro found the above problems.... Would my anti virus be compromised by such Malware etc?
