Iniesta with probably best chance for Spain, Patricio turns the effort away.

Cesc really brought some life into that Spanish passing machine, but certainly not enough
They should've persuaded Messi 10 years ago to play for Spain
It's quite a long time ago when I last watched a match only to know who won

How fooking lucky can you get, Spain just scraped through.

Spain in the final again after penalties!

Tomorrow we will know against who and let's hope it's a better game to watch

Hope this serves as a lesson though I doubt it tbh. Del Bosque is just too conservative imo with this team. He left 6 defensive players on the field (against 2 offensive at most from Portugal) and took out Xavi, the playmaker. You got the best team and play not to lose. Someday youŽll run out of luck.

Part of me think Del Bosque doesn't have a clue and just got lucky by getting a Spanish squad at their peak.
Get either Busquets or Alonso off. Ramos at right back (Arbeola is awful) with Martinez partnering Pique. Play iniesta beside Xavi... it's his best position christ... oh, and play a striker who isn't Negredo.

    .................Casillas
    Ramos Martinez Pique Alba
    ...............Busquets
    ..............Xavi Iniesta
    Navas.........Llorente........Pedro

I love Spain, their philosophy, the way they play the game, but they haven't played anywhere near the best this year. They are in the final though, that must say something. Hopefully they can provide is with the style of flair we have come to expect in the final.
