Default London Welsh win appeal and promotion to Aviva Premiership

After more than a month of speculation and drama, London Welsh have prevailed in their attempt to secure promotion to the Aviva Premiership. The decision also results in the relegation of Newcastle Falcons to the Championship.

So, I presume that Welsh will be the prohibitive favorites for relegation, especially they have only got a little over a month's time to prepare for the Start of the new Aviva campaign. I guess they'll be playing their home matches from the Kassam Stadium in Oxford. Hopefully they'll spring a surprise or two in the upcoming season.

I feel for the Newcastle supporters. They've must be gutted to learn their fate this late in the game. Best of luck to them and their club on their quest to win promotion back to the Aviva.

Oxford very much out of the way. Be interesting to see what kind of crowds they will attractive as the current ground is a park.
