what temp do you have your AC set at and what size is your ac? the most possible reason is that you have it set too low for the the room size so the ac compressor is constantly running and this will cause the condensor to freeze. thats why it will spit out water.
Make sure the air filter is clean.
Hey. Perhaps your A/C is not draining correctly? We've had a lot of rain storms lately and my unit is filled with water, which makes a sputtering noise. A/C's naturally remove moisture from the air, so some water and puttering is normal.
However today I plan on drilling a small hole on the bottom of the unit. I suggest you do the same.
Just be very careful that you only drill through the housing. Not into the motor or compressor.![]()
