Default The Stupidest thing I Believed

When I was a kid I loved Laurel & Hardy films and shorts. But because I didn't know any better I always thought the past was black and white until they invented colour. Pretty stupid huh

Anyway, what stupid thing did you believe when you were young and didn't know any better?

When i was a kid my mother used to say, "If you keep pulling those silly faces, it'll stay like that if the wind changes direction"...

I stopped making silly faces at an early age.

If you grew up in Leeds in the 1950's and 60's like me, the past WAS black - and grey on a sunny day! Industrial colours! Mid 1960's, Don Revie invented Leeds United and technicolour was born!

Back on topic - as a kid I believed that old wives tale, that w@nking every day would make me deaf...But I ignored that.EH? WHAT? SPEAK UP PLEASE!

My grandfather lost the tip of the forefinger on his right hand, and he used to tell me it was because he used to pick his nose!! I certainly
    believed him at the time!!

lol. That's similar to what my mum said. She said every piece I picked out my nose was a piece of my brain
