To be honest I'm quite worried about our lack of goals leading into the new season. 1 goal here 1 goal there. . Reports of injuries in defence but at least we're not conceding many either.
    Haha, not joking at all.
There is no doubt Barcelona are the better team, there isnt a better team out there.
But i'm fairly pleased, we're doing ok so far, nothing to write home about, but we arent losing to oldham or brighton.
Last season our defense was shite, was actually at the point where it was harsh to watch.
But so far, from what we've seen, its fairly solid.
The keeper looks good, thats another bonus, he pulled off some decent saves, isnt massively out of position and doesnt seem to be flapping.

But i do agree with you on the goal front, but i'm confident we'll pick it up.
we have some good strikers, and who knows who we'll grab in before the window closes.

    Totally agree with you.

Just watched the match against Hannover 96. Not exactly brilliant, but it didn't look like we was playing in first gear. Slightly like the Barca game. Some of our ball control was appalling. A nice build up from a free kick in the first half was good to watch until Nani shot so high, the ball is currently on a path to Mars. Hannover defended quite well for most of the game, but we still had two terrible misses by Micheal Keane.

Some good goals aswell, especially Hannovers third which was cheeky . That goal put Hannover 3-1 up and I thought we was onto a hiding. A great free kick from Rooney which left the keeper rooted to the spot and just stood and admired as the ball hit the back of the net for 3-2. A penalty to make it 3-3 and nice to see Kagawa score the winner to finish 3-4 .

Good to see we havn't lost that fight back spirit. Some bad defending, and like I said earlier appalling ball control. That will eventually improve.

So like you said....... Fairly solid. Just a little tweaking here and there.
