Anyone watching KState Okla? Scoretrackers says Wildcats up 7-3. Also Auburn LSU seems tight going into half. But then LSU plays that way and just wears down a defense physically in the second half. A lot of good games going on. Bumbling INTfest in South Bend, big play smorgasbord in Tally.

As far as Jazz goes, I like Mingus, but my faves are Thelonious Monk and Art Blakey. A little older and more classic.

ps: I don't recognise the band Metallica after the death of Cliff Burton. Metallica stopped after the release of MOP.

Does the new roomie like Football? My roommate (read: wife) does not. Well, it's not that she doesn't like it, she just has very little idea what it is. She can't tell the difference between a football game and a soccer game really.

Well, he is from Texas so does have some knowlegde and appreciation for the game. Finding out today his tolerance level seems to be acceptable for my obsession. He is tripping on me but handling better than I expected.

Totally agree with your GF. When it comes to jazz, the older the better, IMO. Free jazz is lame and smooth jazz sucks. Though I wouldn't classify Raasahn Roland Kirk as free jazz or smooth jazz.
