Thumbs up Acestream buffering problem - possible solution for some people

    Hi there people.
    Here's a tip.
After having a lot of problems palying acestream streams (buffering every minute or so), I found out that allowing UPnP or forwarding port helps a lot.

    Notes:
This of course wont' help if ISP is blocking torrents.
You can find out the the port Acestream uses by right-clicking on AS tray->settings->advanced. For me it was 8621.

    Hope this helps.

Don't know if this will work for anybody but i had constant buffering so changed ports to 7764 instead of 8621 and added port forwarding in my router and just watched the spurs game through Dazsports and it was perfect. Worth a go ........
    cheers

Thanks, i can confirm a perfect result in streaming by making a port forwarding on your router. You can't set a Upnp option in Acestream so you have to open a port on the router

hi just follow the settings in this link http://forum.wiziwig.eu/threads/8161...g-Buffering%29 and it will run perfectly (even for me and I have slow internet). Me and 5 of my mates changed to these settings and now we dont get any buffering.

I was having problems where both vlc player and acestream would disconnect after about 30 seconds of playing the live feed.... after some struggle and trying all the other suggestions i was able to configure the port forwarding to 7764 and it solved all the problems i was having - cheers

now just need to figure out how to have my pc fixed to up xxx.xxx.x.6 so i dont have to screw with it every time everything resets....
