Essentials

NEW!!! VLC2.05 + iPad links on PC, MAC, etc., must be opened or associated with VLC 2.0.5 - Download it HERE. Read post #2 below, for more info.
VLC2.05 + mobile links can be viewed with iPad, iPhone, and MX Player on Android.
Download StreamTorrent Build 0078 and you should read ST Guide as well.
There is also a Portable Version available HERE
Take the time to learn about the Software and how to use it!
You need to let a stream buffer for at least 5 minutes to know anything AND 10 minutes to know anything for sure.
Be sure your PC's date and time are correct.
Sometimes you need to close and reopen your browser. ie: Firefox, IE.
For most streams Internet Explorer, or FireFox is recommended. (solves most problems)
Get the most recent Flash update
ST FireFox Users: You may need to associate Streamtorrent.exe with st://... - More Info, near the bottom.
ST Chrome Users: You may need to manually add channels to your ST channel list. -See the ST Guide for more info.
For ST streams: try opening ST, then delete the channel/all channels from your ST channel list- then close ST in the tasktray- then re-click the link.
Mac Users: Go HERE...
Re-install Windows Media Player or Windows 7 Fix Even if it says you have the latest version. This really helps!
Sometimes the software needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled.
Other software... TVU ; Sopcast; etc which can also be found in the Wiziwig installer packages and the appropriate forums.
This stuff works >>>>>
Windows Firewall should have exception for streamtorrent.exe; Open ports 15800-15900. ...or for some OS; IPv4 (TCP/UDP): 15800-15899 & IPv6 (TCP/UDP): 15900-15999
If you have a router please read How to Configure a Router for P2P Streaming/Networking
Install the connections patch, especially for Windows XP users at: Overview for XP3 or Overview for W7
Vista users using StreamTorrent may need to read > Fix-tvants-vista-wmp11
If you have a continuing issue, try clearing your cache and cookies. CCleaner works well for this.
Or you may need to try and Repair/Reset Winsock settings as a last resort.

How to use VLC to watch a Stream

Download VLC at OldVersion(dot)com ...or... New Version 2.0.5 - VideoLan.org and install it.
You cannot use VLC to watch a stream unless it is already playing in StreamTorrent
Open the main StreamTorrent application window. Start and Lock the channel you wish to watch. Then... once the stream has buffered & is playing, right click on the streaming player window, go to "Properties" and copy the .asf link you find.
In VLC, go to "File" and open a network stream.
In the HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS box, paste in the asf link.
Click on "OK" and sit back and watch in VLC. Close the StreamTorrent player window, but DO NOT close out of the application, for this closes the stream. (Side note: The asf link will change for each stream. Usually the last number is what changes.)
Remember to Unlock the channel when you are done watching your stream.
Record with VLC! Click Here!

NEW!!!
You will need VLC 2.0.5 to view the 24/7 and Archive streams on PC/MAC/other OS.
You will need Zoom Player Pro (http://forum.wiziwig.eu/showthread.p...52#post1488252) to play back the LIVE links. Until VLC gets a fix.

You will also need to make an adjustment to VLC.
1st, Open VLC 2.0.5. Go to Tools > Preferences
Select the radio button "Show Settings" - All (near the bottom)
Select input/codecs.
Scroll down to advanced, and change the value for Network Caching to 5000 (ms).
This helps to prevent dropped frames and provides a more stable stream.

All the links will be listed in one place and there you will also find archived games you can watch on demand.

So there is 1 link. The B1G mobile page will have ALL the links (VLC + tablet + mobile), so I will use it for all applicable games.

The iPad/Tablet links should be used for PC/MAC/otherOS computers.

Remember, you may have to:
copy the link > open VLC 2.0.5 > press ctrl+v (to paste link) into VLC > press play.
copy the link > open Zoomplayer then either hit "Shift + U" and paste the link, or Right Click on the player area Choose Open > Open streaming link (URL) paste link.

The iPad/Tablet links will work with iPad/Android/KindleFire tablets. (higher bandwidth)
The mobile links will work with iPhone/Android mobile. (lower bandwidth)
(Andriod devices may use MX player to view streams. KindleFire may use Vplayer.)

Here are the links for the games listed on the CBSSports.com page as Big Ten. There seems to be at least 2 possible feed paths for the games. The only way to accurately determine the exact link for these games is to try each one at game time. I suggest checking each channel in each group by trying the 400K links first. It will be quicker. Members please feel free to post a known link to the game you are watching in order to help out other fans. I do not have enough time to do it. Maybe a new mod will come along who does. I hope so, but I'm not counting on it.

ATTENTION: 08/27/2012: ESPN3.com has radically changed their blackout scheme for simulcast ESPN games.

espn3.com will no longer be available for games that are shown on ESPN and ESPN2 is the short story for the purpose of a twitter headline, but the long story is more complicated.

espn3.com has radically changed their blackout scheme for games that are being simulcast on one of their regular ESPN channels.

The blackout scheme does *not apply* for games that are exclusive to espn3 or that are scheduled to appear on non-ESPN networks. So most games on ESPN GamePlan have the same regional blackouts they always had.

If a game is scheduled for an ESPN network, can you watch it on espn3? Maybe, but the chances decrease the further east that you live, and no longer exist the later in the day that the game is played.

Start with the espn3 schedule for basketball:

Navigate to the day you are interested in and click on the blackout map if one is shown. For weekend games you can only watch afternoon games in Alaska or Hawaii, for night games espn3 is simply not available. For morning games it appears to be geographically blacked out on the East coast.

I will just repeat what I have said the last few years, as it all remains true....

Some links may work... some may not. If a link is dead, PLEASE report it.
Since very few actively participate here, I'm leaving it to you all to figure out the when and where of games you might be interested in. I really see no need to provide hours of work on a schedule every week to all the spammers out there. But I am glad to help members find approved streams for any team and post the links.

I will update the list with any links I find in the future (or need a fix) and at that time I will also update any links that members have posted, if it has not been done already. Members may also want to post a link to a team's schedule. We can post that link right next to the team link for convenience.

REMEMBER >> Not every school listed has a baseball or a softball team. Those schools with teams on the list may not stream the games. You must check the ULive page at cbssports.com. The link is provided in the first post. WatchESPN/ESPN3 will also stream games, mainly on weekends (Fri-Sun). Please check the WatchESPN/ESPN3 schedule for college baseball & softball. Link also in the first post. And... Check the "Useful Links" list in the first post for schools streaming games on their conference sites.

If you are streaming a game, just post it in the thread. Those interested will surely get used to checking it. I will not create any schedules until the NCAA Tournament and College World Series. I will create a brand new thread at that time. ENJOY!

PS: Whenever you return to find a link, please read the first ten posts or so. Why? Because I will insert new posts containing useful information that will be valid for the rest of the season. For instance, I "met" a Texas Longhorn fan in a Wyoming Football forum who has stream links for other schools, has a great rep, and complimented our site. I hope I can find him again to discuss possible co-operation and would then post the info here. Stuff like that. BTW, if he reads this before I locate him again I hope he will post!

baseball doesnt start for another week but just thought I'd throw that information out in case you wanted to know who all was playing later today, ESPN does have a scoreboard up for it as well but it usually doesnt list as many games.

oh one more thing guys, just thought I'd also post a schedule of the games that the ESPN networks are televising this year, so if anyone out there wishes to stream them, here they are. These games are regular season games, with a few conference tournaments.

This list does not say which games on there will be shown online on ESPN3 in addition to ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU. Seems like most of ESPNU's games are not on ESPN3, but if your ISP subscribes to the full watchespn package, you should still be able to see them online.

Also this list does not include the regionals, all of which will either be on ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN3, or the college hosting the regional in accordance with the NCAA rules will provide a free video stream via their video service for all games in the regional.

All games of the super regionals and the College World Series should be on the ESPN networks and ESPN3

wonder if gamecocks all access patched it or something, The arkansas baseball feed doesnt work either and doesnt appear to be a new one on jtv either. I know there were LSU feeds on there last year but seemed like they kept going down late in the year from copyright agents too

only seems to be one guy casting softball games on there right now

Hi Guys... I'll try to be around this afternoon to confirm the links you mentioned. Ole Miss and SC might require a separate subscription (Ole Miss for sure...) but it may be possible for me to hack the link if the little camera goes orange on the ULive page. Most of them I can.... but occasionally there are schools like kansas state and okla state that I need a subscription to figure it out, but then we're good for a while. They're like the bigten links, which I figured out and haven't changed for 6 months. And then there are schools like navy, providence, and maybe texas tech, whose links change game to game... but I can get them if I am around. (and it looks like fireovid may have figured it out as well.

PS: Check Ustream for games, too. A lot of small schools use it.

I was looking over the games today and it looks like S. Carolina will play at 1:30p ET and Ole Miss at 2:30. I will be here to confirm or fail.
I also noticed that Florida State BB has a video link today (2pm). I had been looking and they weren't listed until today so I hope this means streams for the whole season. Always a good team, but I obviously ain't a Nole. As I see teams planning to stream video I make them Bold in the first post.

I was wrong about S. Carolina having a stream at 1:30pm apparently... It's not listed at all for today, but there is a listing for Sunday at 1pm ET.

Ole Miss will probably be impossible for me to get unless I buy a subscription to RebelVision, which is not going to happen.
