Default Getting rid of Zone alarm search engine (Crome)

    Hi guys

Even though I have completely uninstalled zone alarm firewall I still cannot get rid of the search engine even though google is set as my home page every time I log in I get zone alarm first up. I have uninstalled zone alarm from add/remove programs. The progarmme is gone from my system apart from this search engine.

many thanks for any help I use XP service pack 2 and chrome

there is nothing called zone alarm there in services. It only happens once and then google works as my home page. I just wanted to see that if though zone alarm firewall is not installed the search fiction is still there. Its not a big issue. Just wanted to get rid completely

    Put this in your browser...
    Code:
    chrome://settings/

This was using SRWare Iron based off Chrome so might be slightly different...?
