    Default StreamTorrent & AceStream

    Hi

    I was wondering whats the difference between StreamTorrent and AceStream are the links interchangable? can they both be installed side by side?

    any help on this would be great

    They are two completely different P2P programs. The links cannot be interchanged

    There is no problem having both installed on your PC. I must admit I have never run both at the same time

    The principal difference between the two is that StreamTorrent does not use a tracker, whereas it is essential to the way that Acestream functions. Also, Acestream uses x264 and MPEG codecs, whereas StreamTorrent requires WMV codecs

    I've had both running at once and it worked ok, but you'll probably struggle unless you have a decent amount of bandwidth available on your internet connection. I haven't got a decent processor though by today's standards and it works ok.
